O'nun dışında, hiç bir şeyi yaratmayan, üstelik kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendi nefislerine bile ne zarar, ne yarar sağlayamayan, öldürmeye, yaşatmaya ve yeniden diriltip yaymaya güçleri yetmeyen bir takım ilahlar edindiler.

(İnkar edenler), Allah'ı bırakıp hiçbir şey yaratmayan ve zaten kendileri yaratılmış olan, üstelik kendilerine fayda ve zararları dokunmayan, öldürmeye, yaşatmaya ve ölüleri diriltip kabirden çıkarmaya güçleri yetmeyen ilahlar edindiler.

Buna rağmen O'nun yanında, bir şey yaratamıyan, kendileri yaratılan, kendilerine bile yarar ve zarar veremiyen, öldüremiyen, yaşatamıyan ve diriltemiyen bir takım tanrılar edindiler.

Böyle iken andan başka bir takım ma'budlar edindiler ki hiç bir şey halk edemezler, kendileri halk olunup duruyorlar, kendi kendilerine, ne bir zarara ne de bir menfeate malik değiller, ne mevte malikler, ne hayata ne de nüşure

Böyle iken O'ndan başka bir takım tanrılar edindiler ki, hiçbir şey yaratamazlar, bilakis kendileri yaratılıp duruyorlar; kendilerine ne bir zarar, ne de bir yarar verme gücüne sahiptirler; ne öldürmeye, ne de öldükten sonra diriltmeye güçleri yeter.

O'nun dışında, hiç bir şeyi yaratmayan, üstelik kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendi nefslerine bile ne zarar, ne yarar sağlayamayan, öldürmeye, yaşatmaya ve yeniden diriltip yaymaya güçleri yetmeyen bir takım tanrılar edindiler.

(Kafirler) Onu bırakıb da bir takım Tanrılar edindiler ki bunlar hiçbir şey yaratmazlar. (Bil'akis) kendileri yaratılıb durmakdadırlar. Onlar nefisleri için bile ne bir zarar (ı gidermiye), ne de bir faide (yi celbe) muktedir olamazlar. Öldürmiye, diriltmiye, ölenleri yeniden diriltib kabirden çıkarmıya ise hiç güçeri yetmez,

O'nu bırakıp da, bir şey yaratmayan; üstelik kendileri yaratılmış olan ve kendilerine ne bir zarar ne de bir fayda vermeyen, öldürmeye, diriltmeye ve ölümden sonra tekrar canlandırmaya gücü yetmeyen bir takım ilahlar edindiler.

Hal böyleyken, yine de O'nu bırakıp, hiçbir şey yaratmayan, tersine kendileri yaratılmış bulunan; ne kendilerinden bir darlığı uzaklaştıracak ne de kendilerine bir yarar sağlayacak güce sahip olmayan; ne ölüm üzerinde, ne hayat üzerinde, ne de ölümden sonra kalkış üzerinde herhangi bir etkisi bulunmayan birtakım düzmece tanrılara kulluk ediyorlar.

O'nu bırakıp hiçbir şey yaratamayan, aslında kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendileri için bir zarar ya da fayda sağlamaya da sahip olmayan, öldürmeye, hayat vermeye ve yeniden diriltip, yaymağa gücü yetmeyen ilahlar edindiler.

Böyle iken müşrikler Allah'tan başka birtakım tanrılar edindiler ki, hiçbir şey yaratmaya güçleri yetmez, üstelik kendileri başkası tarafından yaratılırlar. Başlarına gelen zararı savamaz, kendileri için fayda celbedemezler, ne öldürmeye, ne diriltmeye ve ne de ölümden sonra tekrar diriltmeye güçleri yetmez.

O'ndan ayrı olarak, hiçbir şey yaratmayan, kendileri yaratılan ve kendilerine dahi ne zarar ne de yarar veremeyen; öldüremeyen, yaşatamayan, (ölüleri diriltip) kaldıramayan birtakım tanrılar edindiler.

Böyleyken O'nun dışında bir takım ilahlar edindiler. Hiçbir şey yaratamaz bunlar. Kendileri yaratılmışlardır zaten... Kendi benlikleri için bile ne bir zarara güç yetirebilirler ne bir yarara. Ne bir ölüme güçleri yeter ne bir dirime ne de kabirden çıkarıp hesap sormaya.

Ne ki yine de O'nun dışında, hiçbir şey yaratamayıp kendileri yaratılmış bulunan; kendilerinden bir zararı defetmeye de bir yararı talep etmeye de güçleri olmayan; ne hayat, ne ölüm, ne de ölümden sonra dirilişe dair bir yetkisi bulunmayan birtakım sahte ilahlar peydahladılar.

O'nu bırakıp, hiçbir şeyi yaratamayan, kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendilerine yarar sağlama ve kendilerinden zararı savma güçleri olmayan; ölüme, hayata ve ölümden sonra diriltmeye güçleri yetmeyenleri ilahlar edindiler.

O'ndan başka bir de ayrıca, hiçbir şey yaratamayan; zaten kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendilerine bile, ne bir yitim ne de bir yarar veremeyen; öldürmeye, yaşatmaya ve yeniden yaşam vererek yaymaya güçleri yetmeyen tanrılar edindiler.

Durum böyle iken Allah ile aralarına koydukları ilahlara tutundular. O ilahlar bir şey yaratamazlar, çünkü kendileri yaratılmıştır. Kendilerine zarar vermeye veya yarar sağlamaya bile güçleri yetmez. Onlar; ölüm, hayat ve tekrar diriltme konusunda da bir yetki sahibi değillerdir.

Buna rağmen O'nun yanında, bir şey yaratamayan, kendileri yaratılan, kendilerine bile yarar ve zarar veremeyen, öldüremeyen, yaşatamayan ve diriltemeyen bir takım tanrılar edindiler.[1]

(Müşrikler) O'nun peşi sıra kendileri yaratılmakta olup hiçbir şey yaratamayan, ayrıca kendilerine zarar da yarar da sağlama imkanına sahip olamayan, ölüme, hayata ve ölüleri yeniden diriltmeye de güçleri yetmeyen çeşitli ilahlar edindiler.

O'nun yanı sıra hiçbir şeyi yaratamayan, kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendilerine yarar sağlama ve kendilerinden zararı savma güçleri olmayan; ölüme, hayata ve ölümden sonra diriltmeye güçleri yetmeyenleri ilahlar edindiler.

O'nun yanı sıra hiçbir şeyi yaratamayan, kendileri yaratılmış olan, kendilerine yarar sağlama ve kendilerinden zararı savma güçleri olmayan; ölüme, hayata ve ölümden sonra diriltmeye güçleri yetmeyenleri ilahlar edindiler.

Kendileri yaratılmış olup hiçbir şey yaratamayan; kendilerine fayda ya da zarar sağlayamayan; öldürmeye, yaşatmaya ve tekrar diriltmeye güçleri yetmeyenleri Allah ile aralarında ilahlar edindiler[1].

Yet, they set up beside Him gods who do not create anything - they themselves are created - and who possess no power to even harm or benefit themselves, nor do they possess any power to control life, or death, or resurrection.

And they took besides Him gods that do not create anything and are themselves created! And they do not possess for themselves any harm or benefit, nor do they possess death or life, nor resurrection.

They took besides Him gods who do not create anything and are themselves created! They do not possess for themselves any harm or benefit, nor do they possess death or life, nor resurrection.

Yet they choose beside Him other gods who create naught but are themselves created, and possess not hurt nor profit for themselves, and possess not death nor life, nor power to raise the dead.

Yet people have taken, instead of Him, other deities; those that create nothing but are themselves created;[1] who do not have the power to hurt or benefit even themselves; who have no power over death, nor over life, nor over the resurrection of the dead.[2]

Yet the disbelievers take as their gods things beneath Him that create nothing, and are themselves created, that can neither harm nor help themselves, and have no control over death, life, or resurrection.

Yet they have adopted other gods, beside Him, who do not create any thing, as they themselves are created, and they possess no power to cause harm or benefit even to themselves, nor do they have any control over death or life or resurrection.

Yet have they taken, besides him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection.

Yet they have taken besides Him other alîhâh (gods) who created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither harm nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead.

Yet they have taken besides Him gods who cannot create anything but are themselves created. Nor can they protect or benefit themselves. Nor can they control life, death, or resurrection.

But they have adopted gods apart from Him which do not create anything but are themselves created. They have no power to harm or help themselves. They have no power over death or life or resurrection.

Yet they choose apart from Him gods who have not created any thing and have themselves been created, who possess no power over their loss or gain, or their death or life or being raised to life again.

And they take beside Him gods who create not aught, but are themselves created, and cannot control for themselves harm or profit, and cannot control death, or life, or resurrection.

Yet have they taken other gods besides Him; which have created nothing, but are themselves created: And are able neither to avert evil from, nor to procure good unto themselves; and have not the power of death, or of life, or of raising the dead.

And they have taken to themselves gods, apart from Him, that create nothing and themselves are created and possess for themselves, neither harm nor profit; neither do they possess death, nor life, nor uprising. (i.e., resurrection).

Yet they have taken to them gods, apart from Him, that create nothing and themselves are created, and have no power to hurt or profit themselves, no power of death or life or raising up.

He unto Whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, He has chosen no son nor has He any partner in the sovereignty. He has created everything, and then given it its measure (proportions).

Yet people worship apart from Him gods who, rather than create anything, are themselves created and who have no power of (averting) harm or (doing) good to themselves, nor have they any control over death or life or Resurrection.

Yet they have taken gods besides Him who create nothing and have themselves been created, and who have no control over their own harm or benefit and have no control over [their own] death, or life, or resurrection.

How pity of the unbelievers who have chosen beside Him gods which not only have not created anything but they themselves are being created! These said "gods" can not only harm or benefit themselves but also do not have any power over death, life or resurrection.

And yet, some choose to worship, instead of Him, imaginary deities that cannot create anything but are themselves created, and have it not within their power to avert harm from, or bring benefit to, themselves, and have no power over death, nor over life, nor over resurrection!

And they took besides Him gods that do not create anything and are themselves created! And they do not possess for themselves any harm or benefit, nor do they possess death or life, nor resurrection.

Yet they -the infidels- never deviated into sense and they went further and fared worse by taking false gods besides Allah, objects of worship who and/or which can create nothing -animate or inanimate-; in fact they themselves were created. Furthermore, they have no power to control their own destiny nor can they defend themselves against what is destined to do them harm nor stop what is meant to profit them nor do they have the power to give life nor to cause death -in the divine manner- nor can they effect Resurrection.

But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.

And yet, there are people who, instead of Him, choose deities and masters that create nothing and are themselves created. And they have it not within their power to avert harm or cause benefit even to themselves. They have no control over death and life, nor can they raise the dead (people and nations).

Even then, besides Him, have they taken gods that can make nothing, and are themselves made; That have no control to harm or do good for themselves; And they cannot control death, or life, or Resurrection.

And they have taken, besides Him, gods which create nothing, but are created, and possess for themselves neither harm nor benefit; and they possess neither death nor life nor resurrection.
