Saffat Suresi

Bunun üzerine onların ilahlarına sokulup: "Yemek yemiyor musunuz?" dedi.

O da tanrılarına yöneldi, "Yemez misiniz?" dedi.

İbrahim, onların putlarının tarafına gizlice gitti ve şöyle dedi: "Yemez misiniz?"

Sonra, tanrılarına yöneldi ve 'Yemez misiniz?' dedi.

Derken kurnazlıkla onların ilahlarına vardı da buyursanız a, dedi, yemez misiniz?

Derken bir kurnazlıkta onların ilahlarına vardı da "Buyursanıza, yemez misiniz?" dedi.

Bunun üzerine onların tanrılarına sokulup: "Yemek yemiyor musunuz?" dedi.

Bunun üzerine o da kurnazca onların düzme Tanrılarına varıb dedi ki: "Hani yemek yemiyorsunuz"?!

O da, tanrılarına yönelip dedi ki: Yemiyor musunuz?

O da onların tanrılarına gizlice yaklaştı ve "Ne o! (Önünüze konulmuş nimetlerden) yemiyor musunuz?

İbrahim, onların ilahlarıyla baş başa kaldı. -Yemez misiniz? dedi.

(91-92) O da çaktırmadan putların yanına sokuldu. Onlara takdim edilmiş öylece duran yemekleri görünce: "Buyursanıza, neden yemiyorsunuz?" "Neyiniz var, neden konuşmuyorsunuz?" dedi.

O da gizlice onların tanrılarına sokuldu: "Yemez misiniz?" dedi.

O da onların ilahlarının yanına sokulup dedi: "Bir şey yemez misiniz?"

Derken o, onların putlarına usulca yaklaştı ve "Ne! Yoksa (önünüze konulanlardan) yemiyor musunuz?" dedi (ve ekledi):

Onların ilahlarına yanaşarak: "Yemez misiniz?" dedi.

Tanrılarına gizlice yaklaştı. Ve şöyle dedi: "Yemiyor musunuz?"

Sonra gizlice ilahlarına yönelmiş ve şöyle demişti: "Siz bir şey yemez misiniz?"

Sonra, tanrılarına yöneldi ve "Yemez misiniz?" dedi.

(91, 92) (İbrahim) yavaşça putlarının yanına varmış, (yemekleri görünce) "Yemiyor musunuz? Neden konuşmuyorsunuz?" demişti.

Onların ilahlarına yanaşarak: "Yemez misiniz?" dedi.

Sonra İbrahim onların ilahlarına sokulup şöyle dedi: "(Size sunulanları) yemiyor musunuz?

He then turned on their idols, saying, "Would you like to eat?

He then went to their gods and said: "Can you not eat?"

He then went to their idols and said, "Can you not eat?"

He turned to their gods and said, ‘Do you not eat?

Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?...

And he made his way to their ‘gods’ and said to them, "Why would you not eat?

Then he turned to their âlihah (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)?

Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat?

Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: "What is the matter with you, why do you not eat?[1]

Then he ˹stealthily˺ advanced towards their gods, and said ˹mockingly˺, "Will you not eat ˹your offerings˺?

He turned surreptitiously to their gods and said, ‘Do you not eat?

Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat?

And Abraham went privately to their gods, and said scoffingly unto them, do ye not eat of the meat which is set before you?

So he went apart to their gods; then he said, "Will you not eat?

Then he turned (his attention) towards their gods and (with a mind to make their worshippers realise their folly) said (addressing the gods), `Do you not eat (any of the things that lie before you)?

Then he stole away to their gods and said, ‘Will you not eat?

[At their absence, ] Abraham went to the temple and [started to talk to the idols and] said: "Do you want something to eat?"

And he went aside unto their gods and said, 'Will ye not eat?

Then he turned to their gods secretly and said, "What! Do you not eat?

Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)?

Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]?

Then he turned to their false gods (food was set before them) and asked them, thus: "Do you not eat!"

He then went to their idols and said: "Can you not eat"

Then he turned to their gods and said: "Will you not eat (from what is offered to you)?. ..

Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?

Then Abraham gently turned to their idols and said, "What! You do not eat?

Then he turned aside to their gods, and said: “Do you not eat?
