Kararmaya ilk başladığı zaman, geceye andolsun,

- Çöken geceye, söken şafaklara yemin olsun ki,

Andolsun, yöneldiği zaman geceye,

Andolsun kararmaya başlayan geceye,

Ve yöneldiği dem o geceye

yöneldiği zaman o geceye,

Kararmaya ilk başladığı zaman, geceye andolsun,

Karanlığa yöneldiği zaman geceye,

kararmaya başlayan geceye;

ve kararan geceyi,

Karardığında geceye,

Geçmeye başladığı dem geceye...

Sırtını dönen geceye,

Beriye geldiği ve geriye döndüğü zaman geceye,

ve (yokluğun) zifiri karanlığına (zaman ve mekan) geri döndüğünde,

Kararmaya başladığı an geceye,

Kararmaya başladığında geceye!

döndüğü sırada geceye,

Ant olsun kararmaya başlayan geceye,

Kararmaya başlayan geceye,

Kararmaya başladığı an geceye,

Kararmaya başladığı an geceye,

başladığı ve bittiği vakitlerde geceye,[1]

And the Night as it slowly closes upon.

And the night when it passes.

And the night as it comes to an end;

And by the night when she feels her way and then softly moves away,

And by the night as it closes in

And the night when it darkens!
